Here we are with another season behind us. Let's not forget that we still have the AGM and Dance to look forward to in December.

If you can't make it to the AGM in person, don't forget to send your voting papers back in time. Your vote is important. If you don't make your voice heard you cannot complain later when things have not gone as you would have liked.

A jolly good time was had by all at last year's dance. This year's promises to be even better. A huge thank you must go to Howard and Debbie Davis for all the time and energy they have put in the organisation of the dance. Tickets are still available (see details in this edition).

Again thanks to Viv and Hoppy for their hard work in seeing to it we have had plenty of events so that we can 'play?.

In the ten years my family have been re enacting ACWS has seen some great changes. Things have come a long way. Our impression of the time has improved not only in dress, but in the portrayal. But as Jayne Olden has pointed out there is still room for improvement. ACWS has a reputation to maintain, especially as we seem to be branching out into other scenarios i.e. Crimean and Revolutionary Wars.

This is the last newsletter of the year. My thanks to everyone who has contributed articles keep them coming please.

Wishing you all an early Seasons Greetings and you at the AGM and Dance in Alsager. If not then see you next season.
