THANK YOU #1
I would just like to thank those of you who have sent me articles over the time I have been the Editor.
I wish the new editor all the best and hope all goes well for you and you have a less turbulent time than I have had (Financially that is) .
This is your Newsletter please remember that , if you don't send in articles it makes it hard to think of other members view of our hobby. Then Newsletter becomes one-sided i.e. Confederate or Union.
There are times when the Newsletter has to be full of official papers, like the minutes of the AGM. and the like, but that is only occasionally.
The Editor needs the support of the membership to make the Newsletter something to proud of, not to read the Events page and then throw in the corner. The website is a good contact point but not all members have access.
This hasn't been the best season events wise but next year already looks full with yet other events in the pipeline. So if you know of people who didn't rejoin because of a lack of events this year let them know that next year looks like being a good one, ho pefully drier too, remember they won't get this Newsletter to tell them.
Best Wishes

Communications Director

THANK YOU #2
Just a few words to thank everyone, blues and greys for making the last three seasons most enjoyable. Its all down to teamwork and you lot are a great team to work with.
Good luck to the new Confederate Commander, please give him the same support as you gave me. Looking forward to next season, hope to see you at the dance and AGM.
Best wishes
Major Trevor Stevens
Confederate Commander
