EDITOR'S BIT

Firstly I must apologise for the delay in getting the Newsletter out this month. Two reasons:

1. The filming weekend, we wanted to get this included in this issue.
2. My computer died, so this is being done on my new super fast computer, which means I haven't got a clue how to use it yet.

The filming week-end was a great success for everyone. The film company was happy, the Society is happy with the income generated and those who attended had a great week-end. We couldn't have had a better turn out if we had an event to attend. The Board would like to thank everyone for their support.

To John Filer we would like to give a special thank you for all the work that he put in. John also asked me to thank everyone who gave him assistance over the week end. Overall I think it was a good experience for all who attended.

For those who have already rejoined you will get the next newsletter. Those who haven't, won't receive newsletters until they rejoin. The sooner you rejoin the better it is for all of us.

This season is going to be an expensive one and your money is needed so we can go forward. You will see as you read through the newsletter what kind of events are planned for this year. Roger has and is working very hard to put all this together but he can only do so much. we need your help and assistance. At Weston Park we need people to come for-ward and volunteers hands make light work and a good event Together we can make this the best season ever had but it should only be starting post. When you leave site make sure you leave it as you found it, fill your fire pit in and move unused fire wood, rubbish etc. Everyone wants to get home but others have to leave later because they are cleaning up others Mess.
