ATTENTION BATTALION!

Once more we loom towards a new season and it’s going be a good one, ACWS are working behind the scenes to secure a good season with dividends for all.

I would like to thank all who supported the film shoot and what a turnout! We had less at shows and it was COLD!

This year I would like to place more emphasis on the officers and NCOs of each company, we need to interact more within our units to build a stronger battalion and take our hobby forward, what does he mean I hear you saying!

Last year I asked specific questions referring to a few major points that may of improved our overall image, this season we should have some feed back from you the soldier of which we can use to enhance your hobby, ideas we can use, suggestions on impression, change and almost any comments you may of made to your officers.

Who I’m looking forward to hearing from on these points.

Enough babble let’s get on with the battalion! I said last year I was pleased about the efforts made by all during the restructure and I hope we can continue to improve as we go, Sgt major Gibson has put together the basic needs which we feel if learnt and practiced will make us manoeuvre smoother as a battalion giving a much improved impression when on drill, he has worked hard as have all of you and the results show so lets take one step more and get even better results, good luck Sgt major!

Camp impressions have also improved due to cooperation from you all in supporting your NCOs, can we improve some more? I would say yes, what do you say? Let me know!

Individual impression what do you think, could we all make that little more effort to enhance what we strive to portray? It may be kit, it may be attitude, it could be a number of things that we all could do and without much effort benefit the rewards through our re-enacting, so look at ourselfs, do we do what we can for our battalion? Our unit? Ourselves? No matter have small positive change will effect everyone.

I’m not going into great detail but on my part for this season coming I have a few ideas, a couple of surprises, and some planned detailed things I want to introduce which I think may help us enjoy re-enacting more. I wont tell you here but look forward to telling you in the field. Support the battalion try to attend lets build a bigger better stronger happier battalion,
