EDITOR'S BIT

Well I will have another go! I might use the spell checker this time?

Since the last attempt we have had a go at Kirby Hall, I think it went better in some way’s. We had enough room to camp this time, which makes life a little easier. The weather after the battle, on the Saturday, could have been kinder though. Well done to All for sticking it out. The battles went well, Sunday better than Saturday, pity the casualties were a bit thin on the hill on Saturday.

If anyone has drawing’s they have done themselves, like the one on the front cover, I would like to feature them on the front cover of our magazine.

Most people seemed to like the profile pages, more included in this issue, I will try to keep the balance between Blue & Grey but this can only be done if I ask you to fill out a form and you return it.

Inside the front cover you will see the date that articles are required to reach me by so they can be included in the next Newsletter and this will be shown in each publication I do.

The closed season is upon us, but the Newsletter has to carry on so don't forget to send your thought about the past season. What we did right, what we did wrong . What can we do next year to put thing right, also the AGM is coming up, attend or live with the decision’s you took no part in deciding. The Board has to keep things going ,that means making decisions through the year. If you don't like what’s been done, attend the meeting and state your thoughts. The Board are only volunteers like the soldiers in the Army so don't forget this when you pass comments on their ability to run the Society on your behave. Like you they don't get paid for the work they do on weekend events.
