ACWS members are invited as individuals to this event. Note this is not a joint event.

September 27-28 - PARIS, FRANCE

American West Themed Event. Although invited, ACWS have declined the offer to attend as a Society, but individual members are welcome to attend this event.
Please note you will have to organise your own transport, European Firearms Licences, Insurance etc. Black powder, caps (and food?) will be provided by the organisers.
The PARIS WESTERN SHOW 2008, a huge fair and exhibition is possibly the biggest in Europe, with hundreds of reenactors, thousands of visitors and more than 50 specialised sutlers - strictly oriented on US 19th Century antique firearms shooting and living history. We already have many other reenacting groups and would like very much to have ACWS in camp.

4-5 October - SPETCHLEY PARK CONFIRMED

Small ACWS Living History displays at this multi-period event by Worcester Re-enactors from 10 till 4 both days consisting of Tudor, English Civil War, Napoleonic, Crimean, American Civil War and WW II periods.
Members camping available from Friday afternoon. There will be plastic camping on field next to Living History camping. Same format as last year, breakfast in the mornings at the tea room, water and wood supplied, Venison will be available for those that want - people need to put orders in before the event. Fire pits can be cut. There will be a programme but it will be a relaxed one.

6th December - ACWS AGM & CHRISTMAS DANCE CONFIRMED

The ACWS Annual General Meeting and The Christmas Dance are to be held on the same day at the Alsager Civic Centre, Lawton Road, Alsager, STOKE-ON-TRENT, ST7 2AE, on Saturday 1st December 2007. The AGM will be held in the afternoon at 1 PM and the Dance in the evening from 7.30 PM until midnight..
